Initial situation

Until recently, the company used engraved, riveted or self-adhesive aluminium signs since an investment in a thermal transfer printing system was not economic in view of the relatively small batch sizes. Moreover, there was no printing system available for small batches with which nameplates could be produced so as to meet the high demands of the KBA information bulletin regarding nameplates.

ELTEX TOP PROTECT OFFICE proved to be the ideal solution:

The nameplates are now printed individually in conventional office DIN A4 laser printers with product data, serial numbers and safety symbols and subsequently surface-protected with a transparent laminate foil in the same format.

Testing certificates from independent institutes evidence quite notably the suitability of TOP PROTECT OFFICE for use as a nameplate.

ELTEX TOP PROTECT OFFICE is absolutely resistant to benzene, diesel, engine oil, water, soda lye, sulphuric acid and toluene. Its temperature resistance, too, from - 40° Celsius to + 100° Celsius has been evidenced in tests. The chequered pattern which remains on the substrate if the label is removed in an unauthorised manner serves as a reliable indication of any attempt at manipulation.
