The user
work in the custom-made, special machinery segment where high-quality, durable machinery is manufactured individually or in small series. The products range from packing lines, through construction and cleaning machinery to conveying equipment and loading systems. In addition, manufacturers in the drive, medical, control and measurement technology sector rely on systems from ELTEX for the marking of prototypes and pilot lots.
Initial situation
These companies require type plates, information labels, warning stickers, CE markings as well as GS symbols and perhaps even wiring diagrams to permanently mark their products.
In this respect the entire range is not procured from a single supplier but from several: e.g. the type plates from a sign producer, CE, GS and warning stickers and symbols via mail order and customer-specific information labels from the local silk-screen printer.
The expense and efforts involved in purchasing, planning and progress monitoring are immense. Further, there are normally minimum purchase quantities in the case of standard labels.
Solution from ELTEX
The ELTEX TOP PROTECT OFFICE System specially designed for this requirement.
The labels are individually designed with standard MS-Office programmes and are printed out on quite normal DIN A4 laser printers in one or more colours.
The transparent laminate foil protects the print image permanently and reliably against abrasion and aggressive media. An integrated UV blocker ensures readability over many years without any fading of the characters.
