ELTEX TOP-PROTECT R®
RFID labels
RFID labels, also known as smart labels or transponder labels, are made at ELTEX using adhesive film labels equipped with a programmable, usually passive, chip and an aerial.
Non-contact identification
The labels communicate by radio frequency directly with stationary or mobile read-write devices and transfer data directly to compatible software systems for further processing.
The clear advantages of transponder technology are obvious: On the one hand, transponders can be read entirely without being touched or seen. On the other hand, they have highest data capacity and are suitable for long-term use.
The data can be generated in any way you like – completions, deletions and modifications of programmed contents can, depending on the chip, be carried out at any time.
The RFID labels can be supplied in various designs. Ready-made variants are precisely altered to customer specifications and equipped with barcodes, logos, serial numbers and optional texts.
Unprinted, adhesive versions with transponders can be imprinted on-site over the full surface – without leaving out the chip position – in a practical and simple manner using the thermal-transfer method.
For optimum long-term printing readability, the ideal solution is a two-wing construction based on the TOP PROTECT 2 in 1 Principle. The practice-proven lamination ensures that the labels are resistant against the influences of weather, aggressive materials and soiling of any nature.
